Windows 7 BSOD for some reason, pc works fine in safe mode.

Customers PC running 7 Home Premium, runs for 2-4 minutes then BSOD. Scanned memory and h/d no problems found. The PC runs fine in safe mode which leads me to believe a drive.

Scanned for malware and viri's nothing found.

First of all remove Avira and update drivers. Next check your RAM.

Hardware diagnostics:

RAM - ensure it's set right in the bios. Bad ram sometimes causes ntfs errors.

RAM - Test with Memtest86+ - Windows 7 Forums

Hard drive:

1. NTFS check - cmd -> chkdsk /r

2. HDD health:

a) HDDScan - SMART

b) Link Removed - Invalid URL

Ok I bit the bullet and wiped it. Customer had restore cd's (ACER) runs like a charm now. I wanna thank ALL of you who helped me. It was tireless help and I do APPRECIATE it
