Hello Everybody.
I'm having issues with my new gateway laptop. It has crashed with a bsod at least once every day since a got it (Christmas). It has restarted before i could read all of them except the most recent one, which said system service exception.
Here are my system specifications:
AMD Phenom II X3 N830
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250
4GB RAM
500 GB HDD
I don't know if this will help, but my antivirus is Norton Internet Security.
mem.webpspd.webpPS: Im running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Go to your notebook support site to update as many drivers as it will offer you,

Touchpad:

Code:
SynTP.sys Thu Dec 10 21:30:38 2009

Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\drivers and rename to .old this driver:

Code:
UBHelper.sys Mon Apr 27 04:48:19 2009

Empty the folder C:\Windows\Minidump.

If the blue screens persist, enable driver verifier: start -> verifier.exe /all -> rebootAfter 4-5 BSOD's disable the verifier: start -> verifier.exe /reset -> reboot
Uninstall Norton in safe mode with the tool you can Google for. Reboot and install MSE.

I uninstalled norton in safe mode, restarted and installed Microsoft security essentials. It installed fine but then the computer blue screened again while updating mse

I set up the program on a flash drive but I can't get my computer to boot from the flash drive. It just starts up like normal.
