Hello,
When i leave my system idle, after about 10 - 20min i get the beautiful BSOD. I have tried everything i know to fix the problem and have listed them below. The system never Blue screens when i am using the PC and i can run high spec games for hours with no problems.
Little edit... System also BSOD when watching Videos.... aslong as keyboard & Mouse not touched.
- OS reinstall
- Latest drivers off Asus Support - Except NVIDIA, as Asus are about 6months out of date, but i have tested with Asus driver and it still BSOD.
- Roled back after windows update
- RAM test - passed
- HD test - passed
- Chdsk
- Turned system sleep, hibernate & HD shutdown OFF
- Good old slap!
The only thing i cannot do is open her up as she is still under warranty. I did think that my HD could have been set as SLAVE, it has been in for a Motherboard repair recently and tech could have messed up. But wanted to see if there were any other suggestions before i send it off again.
Have attached a .txt with hardware info aswell as two .dmp files.
Thanks for any help
Tommy
One more update... quite often when it BSOD's the dump fails & sometimes when it restarts it says that there is no bootable device. If i reset works fine afterwards.
