Hi

I don't seem to see anyway to make Cortana to play the music files on my computer any more.
When I try she tells me to sign up for I Heart Radio or some other service but no option to play music that's on my computer.

Is it still possible to do this?

Mike

Solution
To play music files on your computer using Cortana, you can follow these steps: 1. Navigate to the folder containing your music files. Right-click on a music file and select Open with > Groove Music. This will associate the file type with Groove Music. 2. Open your Groove Music app and ensure that your music library is up to date. 3. Say to Cortana, "Play [song/artist/album] in Groove Music." If Cortana is directing you to sign up for a music streaming service, there might have been changes to how Cortana handles music playback. By associating your music files with Groove Music, you should be able to play your local music library through Groove Music directly. If you continue to experience difficulties playing local music...

If you continue to experience difficulties playing local music files through Cortana, you can also directly navigate to them within the Groove Music app itself for playback.
