Windows 7 cant save anything to the desktop...

hello,
i have Win7 Ultimate and i accidentally deleted the special folder Desktop from c:\users\My User...
ever since, i cant touch the desktop or save things on it...
how can i fix this problem?

Restore it from your recycle bin.... or from your backup ... or create a new Desktop folder where the old one was and put everything back into it.

its not in the recycle bin i Shift+del it...
tried to create a new shortcut and its just doesnt work...

Go to your user name in Windows Explorer and right click on the right plane with your user name highlighted and select NEW / FOLDER and type and enter Desktop


You have to add everyting back since it's lost but that's proably easier than reinstalling because a reinstall will also be blank.
