Chrome Comodo Problem

My sister had 2 computers with Chrome that started crashing on open. Updating all of the drivers did not help. Uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome did not help. I uninstalled Commodo firewall and put on Private Firewall now Chrome works fine! The Chrome constant silent updates are a pain with the problems they cause since you don't know when they are updating.

there is a way to turn the auto update off but involves altering the registry:

Thanks I know about the importance of security updates. I think I just read they had over 500 last year. It would be nice to have the option when to install or at least a notice that it had been updated. I had troouble this spring and again a week or so ago. My sister saw a lot of Facebook posts from people she knows having problems with Chrome lately. It's frustrating getting a BSOD or freeze up when you haven't made any changes to your PC.

The issue with chrome is fixed with the latest Comodo update...
