So my computer was working fine last night and now it's acting crazy

Things that are happening :
When I started the computer it said "Windows desktop manager has stopped working"
At one point every single program crashed and I had to restart my computer
It took literally 20 seconds to open google chrome
Not recognizing previously recognized USB Headset (Logitech G390)

This is the most frustrating thing I've ever encountered with my PC

Things I have tried :
Running Malwarebytes, Defraggler, and CCleaner
Windows Startup Repair Tool
Updating BIOS

This problem makes no sense and I also f***ed up because when I restored my system to factory settings a month ago I forgot to set it to keep backups, so I have none

But as a last resort I can always just restore it to factory agian

Help would be appreciated greatly, thanks :[

That mixture of symptoms suggest either serious system file corruption or a malware infection. As you have already run Malwarebytes (and presumable got a clean bill of health) it might be best now to run a system file check. Goto programs, right click on command prompt, run as administrator and enter this command:

sfc /scannow

Alright I ran that and finished it and it said
"Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

Have things settled at all or are there still problems occurring? If there are then you need to decide whether you want to start investigating in greater depth or take the quick solution of a full recovery.

Sigh, I think my hard drive is failing

I restored my computer to factory settings and things are still acting up.
The same exact thing happened to my desktop about 2 years ago and it turns out it was all the hard drive.

Ill look into it a little further but I'm 90% sure that is what is happening.
But thanks for your help, much appreciated :)
