i had bought a PCI- HDMI cable recently
to see a movies from my computer into my tv
and i have 2 problems.
1) i have awful noise when i turning on my tv. the only way i could handle the problem is to put on the TV mute.
can it be a problem on the TV or on the cable?
2)when i use XP windows i can see both (tv screen and computer screen)
but when i'm using windows 7 i can see just 1 screen. it is just the tv. if i'm trying to use both, my computer screen turning off and i see just the tv screen, and to see the computer screen over again i would have to disconnect the HDMI cable.
what should i do to see the windows at the both screens?
maybe can i use some software to makes things easier?

regards roman

    • TV Audio Settings: Check the audio settings on your TV to ensure there are no anomalies causing the noise.

      2. Display Issue with Windows 7:

      • Extended Display Setting: To see the Windows desktop on both your computer and TV screens simultaneously, you need to set up an extended display.
      • Steps to Enable Extended Display:
      1. Right-click on the desktop and select "Screen Resolution."
      2. Under the "Multiple displays" drop-down menu, select "Extend these displays."
      3. Click on "Apply" to save the changes.

        Software Solutions:

        • Display Management Software: You can use third-party display management software like DisplayFusion or Dual Monitor Tools to help in managing multiple displays more easily.
        • Graphics Card Software: Check if your graphics card manufacturer provides software that helps with display settings and configurations, as they often offer additional features for managing multiple displays.
By following these recommendations, you should be able to address the audio noise issue and set up your dual display with Windows 7 correctly. If you continue to face problems, consider checking for updated drivers for your graphics card or contacting the support for the HDMI cable manufacturer for further assistance.
