Windows 7 Desktop icons/Gadget Shortcut or hotkey

Hello everyone. Currently, from what I can tell, the only option to hide the gadgets and desktop icons is to right click, go to view, etc.

Does anyone know a shortcut for this or how I can hotkey it?
