Windows 8 Ethernet 2 Invalid IP

Hi All,

I need some help.

I just bought a laptop which the seller upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8 Pro.

For the office, I am using wifi for the internet. But when I tried to use this, I encountered an error that it's Invalid IP configuration and something about Ethernet 2.

I brought it to the computer store and when they used with a router, it worked. I was advised to purchase a switch and CAT6 cable as solution. But when I tried it, still I encountered the same error.

I have sent a request to the manufacturer on this concern.

Could anyone possibly assist me?

Melvin

Try rebooting your router that has the wi-fi, to do this simply unplug the router from the AC power outlet for 1 minute and then plug it back in.

Go to command prompt, and enter the command:

ipconfig /all

and show the output here please.
