Using build 6801, within 10 to 15 minutes of browsing the web, the system would freeze and needs a hard reset. In addition to the IE8 that came with win 7, I've tried Firefox 3 and the latest Google Chrome all with the same freezing result. And it doesn't happen on the same website.

System is a 1GHz Athlon with 1Gb ram.

Anyone else come across this and found a solution? Thanks.

    ]Check for Malware:
    • Run a full antivirus scan to rule out any malware causing system instability.
    []Windows Updates:
    • Make sure your Windows 7 build is up to date with the latest updates from Microsoft. Update any pending patches or fixes.
    [
    ]System Stability:
    • Run Windows Memory Diagnostic to check the system’s memory for errors.
    • Check the system for any potential overheating issues.
    []Restore to Safe Mode:
    • Boot Windows into Safe Mode to identify if the freezes are related to third-party software or drivers. If the issue does not persist, it could be driver-related.
    [
    ]Event Viewer Logs:
    • Check Windows Event Viewer logs for any error messages or warnings that might indicate the cause of the system freezes.
    []Registry Cleanup:
    • Use a trusted tool to perform a registry cleanup to fix any invalid entries that could be causing system instability.

    ]System File Checker:
    • Open a Command Prompt as an administrator and run sfc /scannow to scan and repair any corrupted system files. Addressing these areas can help diagnose and potentially resolve the issue of system freezes when browsing on Windows 7 build 6801.
