Now the scary part was, it happened earlier today right after i finished playing Dragon Age, so i then reset the PC, and when i tried to get past the Windows Loading screen the blue screen came up again so i had to reset then, when ever i put on my PC i got no signal to the monitor, i tried it on another monitor same thing even tried it on my HDTV using HDMI cables. After 2 hours it worked fine.

Now its been around 4 hours since this happened and no blue screen freeze yet and hopefully never, but is there a way to prevent this from happening again?

Probably not.. but it's not that difficult to click "Start" "Shtutdown" "Log off" and recycle your comuter. A lot of games are still lagging behind as far as being compatible with win 7.

Dragon Age is a new PC game released like 2 weeks ago, i dont see how it can be lagging in compatibility with Windows 7.

I got the error again just now. So its either Windows 7 or my Video card.

What kind of graphics card do you have? I had this problem a little while ago, but managed to fix it with a tweak in BIOS.

When i first got the windows 7, i had several blue screens but i suppose it was because of some software i downloaded that was not totally compatible with win7; i still have that software but i didn't have blue screens since a month already and today i got one for no reason!...what can i do? Thanks in advance

I have the same problem and it's not the game. I preinstalled my windows 7 Professional 64 bits ( deleted all partions and made new) Than my laptop - dell inspiron 1564 with Ati HD 4330 video card worked for 4 hours without any problem. But the next day it crashed 3 times with the same blue screen with vertical light blue lines. I tested my memory with memtest for 10 hours - no errors, tested my CPU - no errors, tested my motherboard - no errors, than i tested my videocard with stability test for 15 min, but didn't crash. I am not sure, but i think the problem is with the videocard and that the videocard is overheating. When i put the laptop on a book and the holes for the cooling are opened it's not crashing, but when i am in bed and the cooling is not good it gives that ugly blue screen... if you have the resolve pls reply... it's verry annoing and i'm considering replacing the video card...

UPDATE: The problem isn't overheating of the video card. I monitored the video card with GPU-z for a long time. I had blue screen with vertical lines at ~ 13:23 local time and that's the log seconds before the crash from the GPU-z:

All temperatures are pretty normal. Last night i tried overloading my videocard and i reached 80+ Grad C without any problem for the computer. It worked fine and there wasn't crash with blue screen, so the problem is not "overheating" of videocard.

Have you checked the Event Viewer?

Are you getting any minidump files? Can you zip the last two up and attach?

Have you updated the Video drivers?

Have you tried another video card?
