Windows 8 Having some glitchy and laggy audio

Lately, when I play any kind of audio, it will slow down and start crackling. When I reboot, it goes away....for a while. It seems like when it sleeps, it gets this problem. I tried to update the driver, but my computer said it was up to date. I don't know what else to do. Does anyone know what is going on?

If you didn't have the issue earlier you can try rolling back your driver.
I had sound issues in Windows 8.1, and had to use older drivers, i'm seeing the same thing in Windows 10.

As long as I don't update the drivers my sound is fine.
