Hi everyone,

Some of you may know this already but I just thought I would share my knowledge I learned from M$. I recently preordered windows 7 and could not find anywhere where to choose between 32 bit and 64 bit. I called MS and they confirmed to me that if you are downloading it you will be given the option of which one to download, which makes sense, but the cool thing is if you bought the back up disk also the disk will contain both 32 bit and 64 bit versions so you can choose which one you want at time of install. This could be handy when you have multiple PC's and not all of them could handle 64 bit.

Sorry if this is old news but I couldnt find it anywhere and just wanted to share.

When you purchase, the case will have two DVD discs in there - one with 32bit and one with 64bit.

Anotherwords you can choose which one to install.

If you have more than 3 Gb of Ram, then make sure you go for x 64 os to have all of your Ram used (not just shown). If your Ram is 3 Gb or less, x 86 is fine.

Anyway, x 64 should work 10 - 30 percent faster.
