Windows 8 Mail in Win 8.1 ....As good as Windows live mail?

I am not finding a way to include my icloud email address in the Win 8.1 mail. I had Windows live mail, but the download to 8.1 has left me to see a dll is missing window when I try to view my mail. Any help or a pointer to this. I like being able to sync my mail with devices...but it appears Win 8.1 may not allow it. Sad.

have you tried this?

Open Windows Mail. Click settings:
Link Removed

Then click 'Add account':

Link Removed

Then click 'Other accounts':

Link Removed

I prefer Windows Live Mail over the Mail app in 8.1 and can assure you that WLM works fine with Win 8.1 on my machine. Have you tried re-installing to fix the missing dll issue?

Hi

Right Click on the App Icon and select "Pin to Taskbar" from the bottom of the screen unless they've changed it in 8.1.
