Solution
It seems like you're encountering frequent BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) crashes on your new computer, along with restarts. The dump file and system information you've provided can help diagnose the issue. Here are some steps we can take to address this problem:

Analyzing the Dump File

The dump file you've attached is crucial for understanding the cause of the BSOD crashes. By analyzing the dump file, we can identify the error that triggered the crash and provide a more targeted solution.

Windows System Information

The information you provided from the Windows event log indicates a BlueScreen error with the following details:
  • BCCode: 1a
  • BCP1: 0000000000008884
  • BCP2: FFFFFA800143A330
  • BCP3: FFFFFA800143D360...

Kernel Power Critical Error

The occurrence of a Kernel Power critical error along with the BSOD indicates a potential hardware or driver-related issue causing the system crashes.

RAM Test

Running memtest86+ for a few hours without any errors is a good sign that the RAM might not be the cause of the problem. This suggests that the issue could potentially lie elsewhere, such as with a driver or hardware component.

System Configuration

Your computer configuration includes:
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3
  • RAM: G.Skill Extreme3 PC12800 Ripjaws 2x4GB
  • Processor: Intel i7 2600k 3.40GHz
  • Graphics Card: ATI Radeon Sapphire 6850

Steps to Take:

  1. Analysis of Dump File: It's crucial to analyze the dump file to pinpoint the exact cause of the BSOD crashes.
  2. Check for Driver Updates: Ensure all drivers, especially for the motherboard and graphics card, are up to date.
  3. Hardware Inspection: Check for any loose connections or signs of hardware failure, focusing on components like the GPU and power supply.
  4. System Stability: Monitor the system for any specific patterns before the crashes occur, such as running specific programs or tasks.
  5. Software Changes: Consider any recent software installations or updates that might coincide with the start of these issues. For further assistance, I can help analyze the dump file. Feel free to upload it, and I'll provide insights into the potential causes of the BSOD crashes.
