Everything works well except my microphone,

During skype conversation my voice volume is very low.

*I installed the drivers and it works well.
*The boost level and volume is on maximum.
*i tried everything in Control panel-Sound.
*its says "This device is working properly."
*the driver is - Conexant CS20671 smartaudioHD and it is the latest in asus drivers website.

Please help me,

It seems like you've done quite a bit to troubleshoot the microphone issue on your Windows 7 system after reinstalling it on your Asus K52F laptop. Here are a few additional steps you can try to resolve the low microphone volume issue: 1. Check Microphone Settings: - Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select "Recording devices." - Select your microphone and click on "Properties." - Go to the "Levels" tab and ensure the microphone volume is set to maximum. 2. Update or Roll Back the Driver: - While you mentioned that you have the latest driver from the Asus website, it's worth checking if manually updating the driver to the latest version available from the Conexant website helps. - If updating does not...
- If updating does not work, you can try rolling back to a previous version of the driver to see if that resolves the issue. 3. Disable Audio Enhancements: - Sometimes, audio enhancements can interfere with microphone volume. To disable them: - Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select "Recording devices." - Select your microphone, click on "Properties," and go to the "Enhancements" tab. Check the box that says "Disable all enhancements." 4. Check Microphone Mute Button: - Ensure that there is no physical mute button on your laptop that might be silencing the microphone. 5. Test Microphone on Another Device: - Test your microphone on another device to rule out any hardware issues with the microphone itself. 6. Windows Troubleshooter: - Run the Windows Troubleshooter for audio issues to see if it can identify and fix the problem. 7. Third-Party Software Interference: - Disable any third-party audio software that might be conflicting with the microphone. If after trying these steps the issue persists, it may be helpful to consider using an external microphone to see if the problem is with the built-in microphone on your laptop. Let me know if you need further assistance or if any of these steps help resolve the microphone volume issue!
