I am trying to move a user in a domain to a new PC. Both PC's are Windows 7 Pro.
I tried Easy Transfer and the transfer was successful. However when I log on, I do not have the users desktop icons, background, or shortcuts.
I am a bit confused because on the old PC the users profile shows as local. However all of the folders - Desktop,Documents etc reside on the server and if I look at properties of Desktop on the old PC its pointed to the users server folder.
I am giving Forensit's User Profile Wizard 3.7 now but its already failed 2x so I am looking for direction on how to get this done. Thanks so much.
