Windows 7 Need help with DOS commands.

Hi,
I am trying to copy a huge file say a file of few Gbs using copy command. I need a command to stop that copy in middle. If we copy a file does that command works as a new process?
If somebody could help me get a Unique ID for that copy command which I could use with Taskkill to stop it.

If I understand you correctly, you look for a chain of commands? All I can give you is, Google with "chain of commands dos".
