Windows 10 Netsh not working

Im trying to turn my rtl8188ee 802.11bgn wifi adaptor into a hotspot but i cant get it to turn on when i type the following Netsh wlan start hostednetwork Says group or resource not in correct state. Netsh wlan show drivers Hostednetwork support......no So how do i fix? If i up date driver will that delete my saved wifi passwords and stuff? The reason i ask, i dont know the xfiniti username and password anymore from my job but i can still connect to my nieghbors wifi because they have xfiniti.
