I have a toshiba laptop with an Intel Pro/Wireless 3945AB6 Network Connection (I believe that means my wireless card). I am unable to connect to any networks. I can see all networks in range of my laptop but when I try to connect, I get a Connection Not Successful window. When I try to diagnose the problem windows is not able to find one. I've checked the device manager and it says that the device is working properly. I have tried connecting in two different places. Both times, I was unable to connect with my laptop while my iPod Touch was able to. I believe this happened after the last update (at 3:00am PST). I was able to use my wireless connection normally for the first 2 days after installing windows 7.

Solution
It seems like the issue with your wireless network connection on your Toshiba laptop after the last update can be frustrating. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve this problem: 1. Reset Your Router: Restart your router by unplugging it, waiting for about 30 seconds, and then plugging it back in. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues. 2. Update Wireless Drivers: Ensure you have the latest drivers for your Intel Pro/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection. You can download the latest drivers from the Intel website or Toshiba's support site. 3. Check Wireless Switch: Some laptops have a physical switch or a key combination to enable/disable wireless connectivity. Make sure it is turned on. 4...

Check Wireless Switch: Some laptops have a physical switch or a key combination to enable/disable wireless connectivity. Make sure it is turned on. 4. Troubleshoot Network Adapter: - Right-click on the network icon in the system tray and select "Troubleshoot problems" to run the Windows Network Diagnostics. - Check for any error messages and follow the recommended solutions. 5. Network Reset: - Open Command Prompt as an administrator. - Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter to reset the TCP/IP stack. - Then, type netsh winsock reset and press Enter to reset the Winsock catalog. 6. Disable/Enable Network Adapter: - Go to Device Manager, find your wireless adapter, right-click, and choose "Disable." Wait for a few seconds and then enable it again. 7. Check Firewall/Antivirus: Temporarily disable your firewall and antivirus software to see if they are blocking the connection. 8. Perform a System Restore: If the issue started after the update, you can perform a System Restore to revert your system to a previous point when the wireless connection was working. Hopefully, one of these steps will help you resolve the wireless network connection issue on your Toshiba laptop running Windows 7.
