Okay, I did my reservatation for Windows 10 on my windows 8 computer, but then it started going slow, so I did an advanced restart and I reset windows. Should I still receive my windows 10 upgrade? Because I can't see the windows 10 button...

I'm pretty positive that when you start getting the Windows 10 install files, they will be located in C:\$Windows.~BT this is a system hidden folder. I've already the folder and about 140MBs of data, minus the ESD file which is the actual install. This was the same with the updates for Windows 10 in the preview versions.

I am a little concerned since my file folder shows nothing yet and keep getting this update failed message when checking for updates.

An image from 'Question - Windows 10 Upgrade'. Windows update history shows multiple failed attempts to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro on 7/28/2015.

Were you signed up for the insider preview? If not then you may not get it until later.

No I left the insider a while back. Just upgrading from reserving my copy through windows 8.1. I thought about that might be it after I made this post.

Evidently it's here as well.
I assume you'll be able to create media.
Think I'll give it a try.
