The PC randomly BSoD. Sometimes, it happens during mid night when the computer is idle. Sometimes, right when I edit a file. There are four instances in the attached file.

Thank you very much!

Hey there, welcome.

1) Install this Microsoft patch to update iaStorv.sys:

iaStorV iaStorV.sys Wed Apr 08 12:57:17 2009

An update that improves the compatibility of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 with Advanced Format Disks is available

2) Uninstall Daemon Tools. Then use this installer/uninstaller to remove the notorious sptd.sys which crashed you (do not update instead while using):

DuplexSecure - Downloads

PowerISO is perfectly stable and the disc emulation is free forever. Install that to replace DT:

PowerISO - Create, Edit, Compress, Encrypt, Split, Mount, Extract ISO file, ISO/BIN converter, Virtual Drive

3) Definitely uninstall notorious Norton/Symantec in safe mode with this tool:

AV Uninstallers - Windows 7 Forums

Reboot and install MSE to replace it.

--------

Enjoy. :)

Thanks, but I don't think I have Daemon Tools installed. Also, I don't see the sptd.sys using BlueScreenView. Could you please check it again? Thanks a lot!

Please follow what I said. Both Daemon Tools and sptd.sys need to be removed.

BSV is not professional by any means.

You're welcome.
