Windows Vista Re-Installing Vista Ultimate

I have an Acer Aspire 5920G laptop on which I have installed ubuntu 8.04.

If I wipe out the drive of all contents (including the MBT) will I be able to use the Windows recovery cd that came with the Acer to reinstall Vista.

As long as the disk is an actual installation disk then you'll be fine. Your best to stick the disk in the drive and then go into the bios and change the boot order to:
1: CD/DVD
2: HDD
3: FLOPPY

Save and then reboot. When asked hit any key to allow the installation process to continue... Don't forget you'll need a installation 'key' although this should be included with the disk.
