Windows 10 Seeking Updates on Microsoft's Permanent Fix for Print Nightmare Issue

Has anyone heard if MS is working on a permanent fix for this? Every time I want to print, I have to reverse the actions to prevent infection which is rather annoying. Thanks.

There is a work around to address the MS patch shortcomings. I've included the appropriate registry settings.
