New to the forums and hope someone can help me out.
I would like to know if it is possible to create a shortcut for the Start Button. I would like to use RocketDock and auto hide the taskbar and be able to access the start button via RocketDock. Thanks in Advance :D

Ctrl/esc or the Win key brings up the start menu - would either of these solve your problem?

Unzip the attached zip file. It contains two files - one called startMenu.vbs. This will open your start menu if you double click it. The second called startMenuShortcut will run the program as a shortcut if you copy the first file into the root directory of your C drive and place the shortcut on your desktop.
