i have a sound card, sb audigy. suddenly it is not working. my computer was accidentally unplugged when on.

in control panel, it says the SB Audigy sound card cannot start, (code 10). tried to update drivers to no avail. [now it says the card is working fine, but no sound.]

any ideas? this happened once before too. i think it just started working again back then after multiple re-boots, but that's not working now.

thanks.

Hi

Uninstall the sound card in Device Manger and reboot your computer.

This will force Windows to re-detect, install, find drivers for and configure your sound card.
This will usually fix things like this.
