I'm running a non-touch laptop and have no use for MetroUI apps whatsoever. How would one go about globally uninstalling ALL of the Metro apps in Windows 10 so that they're gone forever?

Solution
Metro style apps can't be removed using the traditional add / remove programs Control Panel applet. Instead, right click on the app's tile and then click Uninstall.
Then click Uninstall on the confirmation screen.

Would you say this method is better than using something like IoBit Advanced System Care to uninstall?

It is best to uninstall them completely.

Not really, there isn't any real need to remove them. They take very little storage and enter a suspended state when not active which results in a tiny resource footprint.

It's not shortcut, but the real application icons on All app menu.
You can only uninstall it to remove from start menu.
In addition, you can find all applications under this folder:

explorer.exe shell:Appsfolder
