Windows 10 wallpaper sync issue

I have two laptops with windows 10 installed. I would like to turn off the syncing of wallpapers. However, when I go to settings/accounts/sync your settings I see a text saying that "sync is not available for your account". I would be fine with this, but the wallpaper anyway keeps syncing. Since the sync is not available I cannot change the settings. So what can I do in order to stop the syncing? Can't see why I should want to have the same wallpaper everywhere.

I need to disable syncing of wallpapers on my tro laptops. Both have windows 10 and both are used for my school's portal writemyessaysonline.com for custom projects. How do I stop having the same wallpaper?

I had this error because of the connected accounts. So I had to remove an account here: Settings >> Accounts >> Access work or school.
Try this to turn off the wallpapers sync:

Go to Change account settings >> Sync your setting >> turn off the option "Theme".
