I have upgraded to windows 10 this week - all went fine with the upgrade except that the wifi on my laptop stopped working.

I upgraded the drivers - no luck

Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 2x2 AGN + Bluetooth

Installed - updated the driver in device manager connected to the LAN cable - no joy

I have tried multiple drivers from Intel site.
I have also done a clean re-build and tried again

any ideas?

The network card is seen but won't turn on, its a soft switch on the laptop and it lights up for about 3 seconds and goes off.

Solution
Tested the WIFI card on another laptop - working fine.
I also tested the WIFI card from the other laptop in the affected win 10 laptop.
Same issue - added drivers etc from intel site.

I have noticed that the WIFI card is located at PCI BUS 3
This does not seem to be installed

An image from 'Wifi won't enable'. Device Manager window displays system devices and Intel chipset components on a Windows PC.

Not sure if this is the right track or not ?

Old machine did not have hyper-v, vmware or Vbox installed.

I have tested with the old wifi card and the new one - getting the same result

I have also tried updating all the chipset drivers

I'll now test the wifi card in another laptop

IMO all you can do now is report it and move on mate... Microsoft is in full speed a-head mode and not interrested in patches but they will get around to it one day.
