Hello,

Today, i upgraded 2 out of my 3 computers from windows 7 to windows 10. I now have :
- Computer A : win10
- Computer B : win10
- Computer C : win7

Before the update, the 3 computers were on the same lan and were able to access each others files.
Since the update of computer A and B from win7 to win10, i'm having some issues :
- A and B can't see each other
- A and B can see C
- C can see everyone

I've tried stuff i saw online. Nothing solved my problem.
I need some help.

Thank you.

First of all please make sure you are not trying to use Homegroup.
It doesn't exist in Windows 10 anymore.

Please check if the following services are running:
- Function Discovery Provider Host (FDPHost)
- Function Discovery Resource Publication (FDResPub)
- SSDP Discovery Service

Please check if:
- file and printer sharing TURNED ON on both computers
- network discovery TURNED ON on both computers
- NetBIOS over TCP is enabled

What happens when you try to access the shared file/folder by typing the IP address in File Explorer?
something like \\192.168.1.2\shared
