I've pinpointed my problem as being caused by fonts in this manner: firefox forum which showed that my firefox crash was probably because of a font issue. Then, trying to follow their directions to re-install fonts and BSOD every time. In fact, I cannot even open the fonts folder without getting a BSOD every time. Right now Chrome is my only browser choice (which I do not really like). I've got to get this thing fixed - ideas?

Everytime I try to access the fonts folder I get a BSOD. Glad to provide more info if you'll tell me what you want/need.

The BSOD's seem to have started suddenly on 01 Dec - what did you do to the system at that time?

Your C: drive is overfull, having less than 9% free space. Windows uses the free space to do background tasks. It's suggested that you maintain 15% free space on all drives as a general rule. Please free up the extra space on your drive.

We've seen a number of BSOD issues with SSD's. Here's the information that I've compiled so far:

The memory dumps listed in the WER section of MSINFO32 tend to blame EtronXHCI.sys - which seems to be your USB 3.0 drivers. Please download and install a fresh copy of these from the manufacturer's website.

Please un-install Gigabyte's EasyTune6 (ET6) and EasySaver as it's known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems.
Please un-install the Apple Charger utility also - as it's known to cause BSOD's in some Win7 systems.

Please update/remove these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Solution
The BSOD's seem to have started suddenly on 01 Dec - what did you do to the system at that time?

I came home and found the computer wanting to install windows updates. I did, and got a BSOD with a reboot with BIOS telling me the system wasn't booting because of improper voltages due to overclocking... but I didn't overclock (that I recall).

I worked on the drivers, etc. Most of them were already up to date.

I'm telling you everything works fine except for in 2 situations.

#1 Anytime I click on the windows fonts folder, it BSOD's
#2 Anytime I run Firefox, it BSOD's
Firefox forums point toward a font issue. I tend to agree, since I get the font crash problem mentioned above. I included another dump...

I also freed up disk space, so that I have 14 of 55GB free.

Here's what we do when troubleshooting BSOD's:
- first we rule out 3rd party (non-Windows) drivers. We do this with a combination of the reports and our own experience with things that cause trouble. We've started to document these things in the Driver Reference Table - but it's still under development, so it relies on our experience.

- next we rule out hardware issues. To do this there's several different procedures. First is running diagnostics, then we attempt to troubleshoot other parts by removing or swapping them with known good parts

- finally we rule out Windows. There aren't very many tests for this, so I generally suggest a full wipe of the hard drive and then a "diagnostic" reinstall of Windows (only installing enough stuff to get Windows running properly).

We're still on the 3rd party drivers now, so please bear with us.
This memory dump shows that the older LogMeIn and Hamachi drivers are still on your system. Please uninstall them.
Also still installed is the AppleCharger software (Gigabyte On/Off software). Please uninstall that as it's known to cause BSOD's in some Win7 systems.

Finally, I've recently noticed an upturn in the number of problems with phone apps on PC's. You might want to uninstall your idisplayminiport.sys driver from Shape Services (? iDisplay from here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/idisplay/id363500805?mt=8 ) to test and see if that's causing a problem

Once that's done, should the BSOD's continue (and not show any more 3rd party drivers), please try these free diagnostics: Link Removed

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
