A significant update in this build is the refreshed Voice Access interface, designed to provide a more streamlined setup experience. Users can now explore new Voice Access commands directly within the app, enhancing accessibility and control over their devices.

Bug Fixes and System Improvements

This build addresses several critical issues:
  • Pen Input Functionality: Devices with stylus support now experience correct pen input behavior, resolving previous inconsistencies.
  • Application Launch Issues: Problems that prevented apps like Spotify from launching or installing have been fixed, ensuring smoother application management.
  • Group Policy Editor Display: The Group Policy Editor now displays properly in languages such as Chinese, improving accessibility for non-English users.
  • System Stability: A crash caused by the SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED error has been resolved, enhancing overall system reliability.

Known Issues

Despite these improvements, some issues remain:
  • Windows Hello Sign-In: Copilot+ PC users switching to the Canary Channel may lose access to Windows Hello PIN and biometric sign-ins.
  • Taskbar Visuals: The taskbar may not display its usual acrylic effect.
  • Audio Output: Some audio devices with higher sampling rates might not produce sound.
  • Virtualization Applications: Virtualization apps could fail to start unless the Hypervisor Platform is manually enabled.
  • Task Manager Functionality: Search and filter features in Task Manager are still non-functional.
This build does not include a matching SDK yet. Users testing early versions can anticipate more UI updates and gradual fixes in upcoming builds as Microsoft continues to refine its roadmap toward future releases.
