Windows 7 Windows 7 Homegroup Issue Unable to join

I have a desktop and laptop running Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium.

The Desktop is connected via cable and my Laptop is connected to my network via wireless.

I can connect to the internet no problem from both. I am able to "Create a HomeGroup" on both my Desktop and Laptop. The issue I have is I am unable to join a homgroup if I create one on my desktop and try to join using my laptop. (I am only given the option to create a homegroup).

I have researched the forums, and I do have IPv6 enabled on both my desktop and my laptop.

I have ran the self diagnostic check through windows 7. None of the suggestions worked.

I have a Wireless Netgear Router, DSL SpeedStream Modem and Vonage VoIP modem....

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank You.
