I had a barracuda hard drive with windows 7 ultimate 64bit on it, installed it in another pc... now computer starts to boot into windows then restarts, gives the option to go into startup recovery or boot into windows normally, choosing to boot into windows normally results in a loop (computer restarts)...Start Up recovery does its thing and fails...tried a win 7 recovery disk...didn't fix the problem
I can't get into safe mode...also tried booting from Windows 7/Vista installation disc... Choose Repair Your Computer and launched Command Prompt and typed bootrec.exe /fixmbr...nothing worked.

    Help anyone?

The system was installed on the hard drive in one machine, then the hard drive transferred to another and you are trying to boot the new pc from it? Transferring a drive in that way will give totally unpredictable results depending on the hardware specs of the two machines. It will need to be reinstalled for the new machine.
