Windows Vista Windows Vista Logon Issue: Stuck on Welcome Screen, Works in Safe Mode

on our new laptop with windows vista home premium it won't let anyone log on. you type in your password and it says welcome but it will stay like that for at least the few hours i've had the patience not to go to safe mode, because it works in safe mode but i have no idea how to fix the problem. plz help.

go back to safe mode, user accounts, change the way users log on, and remove the password option

xp problem

press f8 to go to safe mode and then do system restore to an eariler time
