Im trying to turn my rtl8188ee 802.11bgn wifi adaptor into a hotspot but i cant get it to turn on when i type the following Netsh wlan start hostednetwork Says group or resource not in correct state. Netsh wlan show drivers Hostednetwork support......no So how do i fix? If i up date driver will that delete my saved wifi passwords and stuff? The reason i ask, i dont know the xfiniti username and password anymore from my job but i can still connect to my nieghbors wifi because they have xfiniti. I just dont want ro loose the saved info

Did you actually configure the hosted network?
Well thats a good question. I thought i did haha. I was told by all mighty google that if it says no next to hostnetwork supported, you cant do much. But i dont believ yhe google. The reason im doing this is to test my tablet. I need to see if its a bad nic or software. I did try mobile hotspot and it worked for a bit then my tablet loat connectivity.
