Hello -
I'm having an issue in Windows 7 where no matter what browser I use (IE9,Firefox,Chrome) I get certain portions of text on websites that show up as random (garbled) characters. They look like they're English, but their jumbled up.
Even when I try to enter text on some sites (like this...
Neither FF, Opera or Chrome open on my Sony Vaio 64bit system. I know I have Internet access as Avast updates every day. When the relevant icons are pressed the Blue loading ring appears for a few seconds then disappears. When I try to access Task manager by ctr/alt/del the screen appears asking...

As I have discussed elsewhere, previously, there is less necessity to add certain software, plug-ins, utilities & such w/ Windows8. Between it & what is or will be current browsers (like IE10) a lot, that wasn't, native, now is. In many cases things, that act as apps, are seemingly redundant...

Hello people of this Forum!
I've had this current computer since December 18th 2011 and ever since that day, I had this issue with all browsers(Firefox, Chrome, Safari and IE) that Youtube videos would be a godawful experience(Video/Screen/Player freezing for 10-60 seconds of first starting the...
Hi
when browsing, the browsers (chrome and IE9) freeses frequently a few secs. It doesn't repond on keyboard or touchpad actions:
Typing google autofill starts to auto fill, gives no extra characters when I type for a few sec and then gives the letters that a had typed (not all)
The same with...
My computer has been freezing a few times now and I have no idea why, I even waited for one hour and a blue screen didn't appear. Tought it was the browsers, cause it usually freezes when I'm on the google chrome, but I uninstalled it and it still freezes with IE. I have played some games but it...
Mozilla and Google say they are building Windows 8-enabled browsers, and Opera Software is looking into the possibility, too. Still, it may not be as easy as with previous Windows operating systems thanks to Microsoft's new "Metro" user interface.

Hello all,
I would consider myself pretty unfamiliar with Windows 7 but have muddled around since I bought my current computer November 2011. This week I have been plagued with several BSOD crashes. The only common theme that I have detected is when I have several browsers open at one time, but...
There may be those who don't care about running older OS's, and if so, just ignore this thread. This is for those who still wants to run Windows 2000 Pro, or is interested in trying.
First, you either need a computer that Windows 2000 was meant to run on, where drivers are still available from...

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
Lately when I try connecting with any browser it says I can't like the internet is unplugged. But I can download and install Windows 7 updates. I was maybe thinking it was a virus so I installed Malwarebytes and Superantispyware. Malwarebytes wouldn't...
When you reboot, you lose all the tabs in browsers that were left open. I find that I frequently would like to restart where I left off. It would be easier to close tabs I don't want to reopen before shutting down than trying to remember the tabs I want to reopen.
I've got a problem today with my basic Internet setting, the SOCKS proxy, it was working till today bud in a few hours it starts with some problem such as cant load some picture and it goes on and all of my browsers just cant open some website such as google.com and cant open most of my Internet...
For example, if I'm typing in Word, randomly the Word application/window will get unselected, as if I clicked something else. I won't be able to type anymore until I click the Word window again, it's pretty annoying too since I'm a fast typer. And this happens with everything. Games, browsers...

I was able to install Last Pass password manager in Win 8 Dev Preview and it works very well. Just signed into my account similarly to Win 7.
Last Pass works in both IE 10 and Google Chrome 14 browsers. Just do a Google search with Last Pass.
I connect to the internet just fine and Explorer never has a problem but when I try to open any program (drop box, Second Life, etc) that needs to connect to the internet it tells me there is a connectivity problem.
Also, I cannot instant watch anything on Netflix because it says that...

This morning all my browsers have crashed, IE 9, FF and Chrome on my desktop. When it happened to IE, I thought it was a bug of some kind then checked w/FF and Chrome and they all went done. After restarting each browser they all work fine. I'm in the process of cleaning my system as we speak...
