I'm using Windows 10 Pro so the error shouldn't be happening. How do I fix this?
About a month ago my Desktop icons began disappearing. It got to a point that over 90% of them were gone. I got them back by going into desktop and creating new shortcuts. Then one day they all reappeared. I had been shutting my computer down right after getting off it. Today I forgot to shut...

I just found a huge Windows 10 flaw and it has impact on File History, too.
All us previous Windows users that login with a Microsoft Account have all noticed how Windows 10 names our user accounts after our Microsoft Account.
I just noticed this flaw in File History.
In previous Windows...

This is a variant of "Windows 10 won't stay in Hibernation". I've unchecked any tasks with "Wake the computer to perform this task" and in any case there is nothing scheduled for 02:55 and 14:55. Has anyone else experienced this?

Ugghhh... I have a headache.
I am trying a clean install of Windows 7, having upgraded to Windows 10, but experience some annoying bugs.
Anyway, I bought a new PC without an operating system, then an OEM copy of Windows 7 :-/
So, after attempting this clean install, I got to the stage after...

I'll try to make this as short as possible.
It started with the "free" win 10 upgrade that managed to trash my computer. It did offer to revert to my Win7 and managed to do that. But machine freezes up in anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes. After 3 days of computer hell I finally gave up and opted to...
