I just have to say it, my Windows 7 experience has been less then great...
In fact its been horrid.
I have built my first computer just recently from the ground up with my own choices in hardware, nothing is defective and yet Windows 7 has been giving me nothing but issues.
I honestly dont see...

Why not? If not a new forum then a new subcategory could do, would be a nice one in Windows Server.
Paul Thurott seems to think one of the two major Windows 7 announcements is a new Windows 7 UI, the second is probaly the OS's release date. Link Removed - Invalid URL .
"There are rumors, too, that a new UI is coming and it may make sense for Microsoft to hold on to that UI for the RTM builds...

There is apparantly a blog from Microsoft indicating that upgrading from the Beta version of Windows 7 is going to be problemattic, including the need to reinstall Vista as one of two tortuous possible upgrade paths !!!
Has anyone any definitive information on this? If it is true you just wonder...
Heres the deal, I had my machine running Vista Ulitimate x64 and everything was working fine. I upgraded to Windows 7. Right off the bat I found that:
1) My optical drive wasnt present (I did however find a fix for this)
2) Comodo firewall did not work
3) Azureus and uTorrent both didnt work...
