I am running Windows 7/64 with a 8800 GTS and the 196.21 driver on a Samsung P2370 1920x1080 resolution.
I am getting very poor video playback. I know it's not a codec issue now. I'll explain why in a bit. The shadows on the videos look like 16 bit. Instead of a smooth transition...

This is so incredibly frustrating. I've searched all over google, a lot of users are experiencing this same problem, and Microsoft still hasn't released a fix for it yet. It's a driver issue, I'm 90% sure, just not sure where the root of the problem is....
Upon shutdown, sometimes I'll...
Problem solved. Turned the laptop on today and Windows 7 flagged the problem for me, and helped me download a new driver for the memory card reader. Only issue now is the hard drives aren't recognised, but plenty of solutions seem to be around for that.
Works fine on windows xp but my windows 7 wont detect my audio device drivers properly. I searched some forums and its told to choose the driver "Philips Composite USB-Hifi Device" manually but its not listed on my drivers list.
thx

Hey everyone
On Thursday, I received my copy of Windows 7 Home Premium. I skipped the Vista bandwagon, so I was moving directly from Windows XP Service Pack 3 (32-bit) to Windows 7 Home Premium. I opted to install the 64-bit version of Windows 7, as I had no issues when running the 64-bit beta...
