All of a sudden I have a PC that has messed up fonts and icons. The desktop icons are normal but if an alert window pops up or an outlook notification it is all jumbled. see the image. Thanks in Advance!

Getting to grips with Windows 10. Found High contrast display - very good: now I can see clearly which window is current. Unfortunately it has made the text under the shortcuts on the desktop literally illegible. Can't find out how to fix it. Any help would be welcome.
