Hi,
I have a Samsung N110 with a windows 7 starter version, old I know!
I'm trying to download the Bluestacks app player, however when it's installing, it stops, and there's an error message saying it needs at least 2GB of space
This is on the C disk, which currently has 79GB free, I tried...
I have an external Seagate 8TB USB disk . As usual , when I have less than 10% free disk space , Win 7 gives me a warning . If this is only a data disk , is it still important to have at least 10% free space ?
The free space in my drive keeps shrinking though I haven't installed any new legal software in it.
Is this a Vista OS problem, or is this some sort of malware or virus engineered to scrape data fragments off my system drive?
What are the fixes for the above two scenarios?
The performance requirements for VR games are much higher than for typical PC games. So if you're thinking about buying an HTC Vive or an Oculus Rift, wouldn't it be good to know that your PC is ready for VR?

A couple of weeks ago I got a message that I had virtually no space on my C drive (3 x 40GB SSD in RAID 0). This was a big surprise. I am running Windows 7 PRO. I removed some restore points to get back to 7 GB of free space. I then did a disk cleanup to get to 11 GB. Since then, the free...

Hi all. I have installed Windows 10 with very few problems (other than the learning curve), however, the free space on the hard drive is now 20GB smaller than before the upgrade from Windows 8.1.
Poking around, I discovered that there is what appears to be a "backup" folder of 20GB within the...

My NTFS non-system partition is now almost well defragmented. However this applies only to small and medium sized files.
There are still approx 40 big files (> 1 GB) which cannot be defragmented because there is no free single (!) space slot where they fit in.
So I need a way to shift all...

Hi
I'm still questioning why the driver store folder is so large.
On my computer it's 25 Gigabytes of the total 36.9 Gigabytes of my Windows install.
While I still have enough free space, I wonder why some people can have such small Windows installations.
Obviously they don't have this folder...
Hey folks. I've tried to find a solution to this problem elsewhere but have still found no satisfactory solution. My C drive is 500 Gb, of which 457 are available to use. The folders I have on the C drive total less than 200 Gb, but the drive shows only 40.4 Gb free. When using Tree Size it...

Hi
This was a real battle but after an hour of struggle I finally did it.
I needed to get rid of it because I only allotted 100 Gb for my Windows 10 drives and the Windows.old folder was using 17 of it, leaving only a small amount of free space.
I usually just log into Ubuntu and remove...
hello to all! i am trying to help someone who commented on one of my YouTube videos on how to install Ubuntu. I have a step which involves shrinking a partition to make room for Ubuntu, and he has over 50GB of free space, yet can only take away 3000MB... if anyone could help that would be great...
Ever since i upgraded my pc from Windows 7 Premium 32 bit to 64 bit, whenever i connect my internet cable to my pc, it slows down considerably. My pc is a Intel Core E8200 dual core CPU, 4 GB ram and 150 GB free space. When i play NBA 2K15 for example w/out being connected to the internet, its...
I've got an Asus T200 with a 32gb eMMC, 64GB sd card and a 500 GB hdd. My problem lies basically with the eMMC storage for which Windows seems to have conflicting data. The storage comes with approx 21GB assigned to drive C and 8GB assigned to a recovery partition.

Win 7 Home Premium.
I was doing dual boot with Win 7 and Win 10 TP.
I decided to remove the dual boot.
So, I went to disk management and removed the volume where Win 10 was. The trouble is, the partition should be marked as unallocated. Instead it is marked as free space.
Now, I right clicked...
