Windows 7 Installed programs are missing and ReadyBoost isn't available!
Okay, I'm stumped. When I go under "Uninstall a Program", most of my programs aren't even there. At all. It shows 25 of them, when I have much, much more. I can still use all of my programs (I'm pretty sure!), so what's up with THAT? Secondly, I can't use ReadyBoost on my flash drive anymore...- DemonParia

Windows 7 An alternative to ReadyBoost
We all know that ReadyBoost in Vista was a major fail. The feature was much improved in Windows 7 but I still don't think it's all that it's shaped up to be. But there's an alternative. eBoostr is about the only other program available that does what ReadyBoost does. And it does it faster...- Mitchell_A

Windows Vista Understanding ReadyBoost: Enhancing System Memory with a USB Drive
I just learned about this. I used a 4gig Cruiser drive that supposedly allocated about 2500mb of memory to speed the system up. With 1gig of memory in the system dose that mean it should be working like it has 3.5gigs of memory? Any good or bad comments on this redyboost option?- jasonw
