Hi guys,
I've have successful removed a dual boot and booting ok win10 after rebuild mbr and removing linux partitions.
However, I have 4 partitions at this moment and I would like to know if I can delete some without causing any issues to win10. Thanks in advanced.

I made a complete system image backup on an external hard disk about a month ago, now I want to update the image. Does creating system image again on that same external hard disk create everything from scratch or update the existing backup?
If so, how can I update my existing backup?
I want to provide a lot of space for a Linux Mint distribution to run on the windows pc, having first set up a dual boot system. I had a D: drive with 800MB of space not being used. I deleted the D: drive and that space became "Unallocated". Following the instructions, I should be able to click...

I have just installed the fall creator update and all seems fine. I also made a flash drive for a clean installation if needed.
My question is, How long should I not remove the disc cleanup system files because I want to create an image that does not contain all those files.

Hi
I was told of a new Windows 10 feature called Storage Sense by someone online.
They said that it was off by default but can be turned on through settings and that it helped keep their computer from getting bogged down.
When I looked for it I couldn't find it even when I ran a search of...
When one re-installs windows7 from scratch, what part of the hard drive does it write itself on? Will it overwrite old data, so to speak starting from the first place on the hard drive or will it rather first write in between un-used space? Would it make a difference if the old data had bean...

I have an external Seagate 8TB USB disk . As usual , when I have less than 10% free disk space , Win 7 gives me a warning . If this is only a data disk , is it still important to have at least 10% free space ?
After having disabled the option "protect my system folders) I had a look on my folders and found 4 (!) different RECYCLE BINs on my second, non-system partition D:
Have a look at the attached snapshot of my WinExplorer view and the corresponding listing with "dir /a".
Why are there so many...

I have seen this problem reported for windows7 and external flash or USB drive. But I am now talking of Windows 10 and local drive. I'll explain myself: After having backed-up several times my external disc was getting full and i decided the advanced settings "clean up" version. It worked fine I...

So today I went to the windows disk cleanup on my laptop which only has 32GB of storage on it, and it said that I could get 3.9 TB back and that seems impossible since it is 32GB model. It turns out that the thing that was 3.9 TB was the old windows versions that it saved apparently. But it...

I am uncertain what the differences are between System Restore Points and Shadow Copies.
Actually I need only System Restore Points.
1.) Can I use SRP without (!) Shadow Copies?
2.) When Shadow copies always necessary: Why are SRP invented?
Why not using Shadow Copies only?
3.) Assume I...

directory. I must have bloated in the last weeks.

For The Windows 8 "Storage Space" Pools, am I correct that choosing the "Simple/Resiliency" type of Pool will allow me to add more disks in the future when I buy them without any issues. I know that if you choose any of the "parity" types to create the Pool, you run the risk of having problems...

Hi everyone,
I know for Windows, after XP, when you do an install, Windows creates two separate partitions. One being the System Parition (Housing all of the boot files, boot sector and it's code, and all sorts of decryption coding and the like)
and it also creates the Boot Partition (housing...
