Windows 7 Basic Question about Memory Usage
I have 6GB of DDR3 ram installed. When I look at Taskmanager I see: Total: 6141 Cached: 4580 Avail: 4519 Free: 0 Does this look okay? Why does it say I have 0 Free ram? Everything runs fine so I'm sure it the way it is supposed to be but I was wondering about that 0 free ram thing.- edbro

While running Windows 7 my desktop is constantly using 40% of my RAM (2GB RAM total). When I launch Battlefield 2 my RAM consumption jumps to a constant 90-95%. Is there anything I can do to lower the RAM usage? Or would my only option be to upgrade my RAM to 4GB?- JohnJ

Windows 7 Excessive processor usage
Since a few days, I've notices the one of my cores is running at near 100% usage all the time (build 7068 on Thinkpad T61p). Seems to be the SearchFilterHost.exe, it uses in average 45% of processor power, according to the resource monitor. Normal? Any suggestions? Just wrote in another tread...- Lause
