Dear all,
Like many, I use keyboard shortcuts extensively. Some are application specific, some are system shortcuts. I am finding that Windows 8 shortcuts are overriding shortcuts I use in some applications, and I would like to be able to delete or reassign the system shortcut so I can use it...
Just did a fresh install of Windows 7. Installed IE10. I'm sure I'm overlooking something obvious, but every time I go to websites previously visited, I am required to log in with my user name and password, even though I check off "Remember me".
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you.
Is it possible my new windows 8 computer does not have a browser installed? It's been a week, I keep searching, can't find one anywhere. I installed chrome on it, that works. I assume I can download IE free from MS, But IE has to already be on this thing someplace. Where is it?

Hi!
I have a long list of cutomized autocorrect items and they are stored in MSO files. In previous Win versions the English items were saved in MSO1033, but Win 8 saves them in MSO2057. So when I transferred to Win 8, I renamed my old MSO1033 file to MSO2057. The problem, however, is that...

Is there something I am overlooking seeing that it works on the...

I put in the Windows DVD, and all was well. It took a while, installed, asked for a new user name / computer name etc.
After that install though, it will never get to the...

Windows Store in Windows 8 is the first and the only source of Modern-UI apps. You can download apps from the built-in Store app in Windows 8 but, this app can’t be uninstalled like other Windows 8 apps. But, it can be disabled easily to restrict access to Windows Store.
