I know it's not the network, because I ran a 3rd party network diagnostic tool that shows me ALL the NetBios names and IP's of all the computers in the workgroup. I can also ping the IP and NetBios name...
Fixes an issue that occurs when you run an application that calls the gethostbyaddr or getnameinfo function to obtain the names of computers within the local network. This issue occurs on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2.

I have two Windows 7 Home Premium machines on the same network, and in the same workgroup for the benefit of an XP machine. For the moment, though, only the Win 7 machines are important. I do not have a homegroup set up at the moment (doing so does not change anything.)
For the purpose of this...
Hi,

Here's the issue. I have 4 computers (3PCs and 1Laptop) on a home network (not a homegroup). All are connected to the same workgroup. All share the same internet connection. Up until last week, all of them had absolutely no issue sharing files or using the printer.
Now however, my laptop...

Any suggestions on how to remedy this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank...
