Windows 7 Annoying pretty random BSOD

Extraordinary Member
Great start of the new year (happy new year all by the way :)). BSOD.

Link Removed due to 404 Error

I've got a dump, see attachment. View attachment 010111-20124-01.dmp

Sounds worse, right? Millions of 'errors' in the dump..
Anyway, I hope this can be fixed :).

Thanks,

Dennis

Thanks for followaing the instructions on how to ask for BSOD help, now a gift for you, right?

KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (7a)
The requested page of kernel data could not be read in. Typically caused by
a bad block in the paging file or disk controller error. Also see
KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR.
If the error status is 0xC000000E, 0xC000009C, 0xC000009D or 0xC0000185,
it means the disk subsystem has experienced a failure.
If the error status is 0xC000009A, then it means the request failed because
a filesystem failed to make forward progress.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffff6fc40008bf0, lock type that was held (value 1,2,3, or PTE address)
Arg2: ffffffffc0000185, error status (normally i/o status code)
Arg3: 0000000024511860, current process (virtual address for lock type 3, or PTE)
Arg4: fffff8800117e93c, virtual address that could not be in-paged (or PTE contents if arg1 is a PTE address)

Debugging Details:

Thanks for your fast response :D.
I'm not really that experienced in those stuff - and I need to know how to remove drivers. I'm not sure if Daemon Tools it's uninstaller did removed the drivers.

About MSE - I need a good working and live-in-action scanner, with detects virusses (and stuff) as they land on my computer without scanning every file manually (I got some odd virus in C:/ a year ago, luckily didn't open it). Including a good firewall where I can allow certain ports' connections - as I transfer files using Peer to Peer). Does this work with MSE?

I'm still messing around to figure out what I need to update my drivers (The last three things). Seems like W7's driver update isn't working properly so I better don't use that (It downgrades my graphic card's drivers enormously).

Thanks for your support,

Dennis

Starforce thing tells me that everything is up-to-date.
sdtd.sys removal is done.
Daemon tools is uninstalled now.

Littttle big question; You told be that Daemon Tools was the causer, why do I need to update/change other things and virus stuff actually?

Thanks for your help again,

Dennis

Great, let's hope. : )

If your system runs without crashes for a couple of weeks, feel free then to replace MSE with any Antivirus of your preference - JUST DON"T INSTALL MORE THAN 1 BRAND.

Same way, if your system runs without crashes for a couple of weeks, feel free to install the LATEST VERSION of Daemon Tools.

I've read something more about Daemon Tools and heard a lot of complaints about BSOD caused by that - They recommend using MagicISO instead. I'll do so, that will cause no problem for me. First I'll wait some time to make sure it's running right.

PC Tools Firewall is just a firewall, Avira Antivir is just a virus scanner without firewall - means it's separated.. That's fine, right?

If you don't need to emulate copy-protected disks, yes you can do without Daemon Tools. The alternatives for ISO emulation are MagicISO, PowerISO, UltraISO.

Nothing wrong with DT, but have it uninstalled for as long as you're troubleshooting bsods.

Do not use Avira and PCtools alongside in one system.

Nice timing of reply :p.

I just need to read .iso files, and get everything out what is inside. I don't really need an extra drive for everything and nothing.

I also had massive problems with ZoneAlarm firewall, with I tried before PCTools' one - ZoneAlarm's caused BSOD's once it was running. Then it was very clear that ZoneAlarm was the causer of the earlier ones.

Again thanks for help :).
