Windows 7 broadcom 43225 802.11b/g/n problem

hello i am currently using the broadcom 43225 802.11b/g/n adapter with netgear n wirelss modem router . my laptop, hp dv7 3110tx cannot detect the n wireless connectivity only the g wireless connectivity.

anyone know why that is happening

Set the Netgear to either up to 270Mbp or 130 Mbps only. The broadcom only works at 2.4GHz range not 5GHz
